Full-Time Live-Out Nanny — New Hope, PA (Start: Nov 3, 2025)

The Family & Children

A warm, easy-going household with 3 children (ages 7, 5, 18 mos) and two small, friendly dogs seeks a calm, kind-but-confident professional to partner with parents as they welcome a new baby. Dad is a professional who works a lot through the week and prioritizes family life on the weekend. Mom is a stay-at-home parent who needs support through the week. You’ll care for:

  • Child 1 (age 7)

  • Child 2 (age 5)

  • Child 3 (18 mos)

  • Child 4 (baby on the way): Arriving soon—family will value newborn support and a smooth transition for everyone.

Home vibe: casual, lively, and loving—“mild chaos” at times, like many homes with multiple young kids. Two sweet dogs are part of the daily flow.

Schedule & Structure

  • Hours: Monday–Friday 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • Weekends: Occasional, pre-planned coverage as mutually agreed.

  • Guarantee: 35 hours/week guaranteed.

  • Commitment: 6–12 months.

  • Live-out role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Child-focused care for children—create a warm, structured day with age-appropriate activities.

  • Plan & run enrichment: crafts, outdoor time, library/park outings; build a simple activity schedule and help find socialization opportunities for the toddler.

  • Newborn support after baby arrives; collaborate on gentle routines and sibling transitions.

  • School-age support: after-school routines, homework help

  • Scheduling appointments as requested

  • Light household help (kid-related): children’s laundry, tidying play/meal areas, simple resets—especially during the first months postpartum.

  • Occasional errands (e.g., quick grocery run, dry cleaning) with advance notice.

  • Pet-friendly: comfortable with two small dogs; if the family travels without the nanny, they may request dog care during regular hours or honor guaranteed pay.

The family is looking for someone who is:

  • Unflappable & nurturing: stays steady in a lively home, uses calm, clear communication.

  • Kind yet firm: sets loving boundaries and keeps kids engaged, curious, and safe.

  • Proactive: brings ideas for learning, play, and gentle risk-taking in appropriate, structured ways.

  • Experienced with multiple littles, especially toddler + newborn dynamics.

  • Dog-loving and team-minded.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional nanny experience (multiple children preferred).

  • Strong newborn/infant and toddler experience; confident with developmental milestones.

  • CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain promptly).

  • High school diploma or higher.

  • Safe driver with a reliable, insured vehicle for on-duty use (mileage arrangements per family/agency policy).

  • Excellent references and professional boundaries/confidentiality.

  • Agency Requirements: We require a minimum of 9 references (3 Childcare, 3 Employment, and 3 Personal). This is nonnegotiable.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly $25-$37, DOE; overtime per applicable laws; guaranteed hours.

  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks' vacation (often aligned with family travel), 5 paid sick days

  • Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus up to 2 birthday days (yours and/or an immediate family member).

  • Health Contribution: $250/month toward health insurance.

  • Extras: Gas stipend negotiable. If the family travels without the nanny, either light dog care during regular hours or guaranteed pay for those hours.

Start & Next Steps

  • Target start: November 3, 2025.

  • This family has partnered with America's Best Nannies (a Sister Company of Hilton Head Nannies) to be introduced to qualified candidates.

If you’re a steady, joyful professional who loves helping kids feel safe, seen, and inspired—and you’re excited to support a growing family—we’d love to hear from you!
