Hilton Head Nannies

Why Join Hilton Head Nannies?

Nannies should be choosy about which agency they decide to sign on with. When determining which agency you should move forward with, consider the following questions:

  • How long has the agency been in business?

  • How long has it been owned by the current owner?

  • What is the company culture? What is their reputation?

  • Does the agency have a strong team spirit?

  • Does the agency exhibit high standards of integrity and care?

  • Do the agency staff members seem like they take a genuine interest in you?

  • Do you sense that the agency has your best interests at heart, or does it seem like you are just another file on their desk?

  • Is the agency committed to helping you find the ideal position that aligns with your skills, experience, and education?

  • How does the agency advocate for their nannies?

  • Does the agency support and advocate for professional respect and professional wages?

  • Is agency committed to providing continued support after you are placed with a family?

At Hilton Head Nannies you work with a dedicated team that will honor you as the professional you are. We will not only help you find a great position, but we will also provide continuing support and opportunities for growth. We have many years of experience, a fine-tuned process, and we care about our nannies.

Our families are the finest in the Lowcountry and beyond. We carefully screen all families to ensure that you will be working in a desirable environment and treated with respect. These families have high expectations of their caregivers, and as such pay well. Did you know that only 3% of all applicants are accepted into Hilton Head Nannies' Registry? This means that you are joining an elite team that you can be proud of belonging to - some of the best nannies in the Lowcountry. We are the gold standard of childcare in the Lowcountry.

We offer many opportunities to work with children, including:

  • Babysitting Registry: Work with our clients, both local families and vacationing families, in their private homes, rentals, or resort suites/hotel rooms. The hours vary to include morning, afternoon, and evening appointments. You choose the jobs you want to take and work when you want to work. This program is very flexible. You are employed by the clients and paid directly by them at the end of every appointment. We currently have two teams: The Hilton Head Island/Bluffton/Beaufort Team and the Savannah/Tybee Island area team.

  • On-Call Work: You provide the hours you want to be available to be On-Call for last minute appointments and we will work to match you with a client. This program is very flexible. You are employed by the clients and paid directly by them at the end of every appointment.

  • Temporary Nanny Placements: After interviewing with families and being offered a position, these placements can last anywhere from a couple of weeks up to a few months. The schedule for temporary jobs varies widely between families. PT and FT temp jobs are available.

  • Part-Time Placements: After interviewing with families and being offered a position, you will work for this family with a time commitment you and the family agree to, but usually for 12 months. Many families hope the relationship lasts much longer. Positions with less than 25 hours are considered part-time. Schedules vary widely between families, dependent upon their needs.

  • Full-Time Placements: After interviewing with families and being offered a position, you will work for this family with a time commitment you and the family agree to, but usually for 12 months. Many families hope the relationship lasts much longer. Positions over 25 hours per week are considered full time. Schedules vary widely between families, dependent upon their needs.

  • Summer Nanny Placements: After interviewing with the family and being offered the position, you will work for this family as their summer nanny. Most of these jobs begin sometime around the end of May and go through August. These jobs can either be part time or full time with varying schedules dependent upon the needs of the family. Many of our summer nannies return to work for the same families each year.

  • Newborn Care Specialists: This work is specifically for those who are trained in this field. Work varies widely dependent upon family needs, but opportunities include: overnight newborn care, 24 hour care, preemie and multiple care, sleep training and postpartum support.
