In fact, 9 out of every 10 applicants are turned away after completing a 12- phase application process, an extensive face-to-face interview process, and an extensive background screening process, including criminal background checks (our background checks are conducted by a private firm). Further, all of our nannies are CPR Certified (Infant, Child, & Adult), First Aid Certified, and are required to attend Hilton Head Nannies training every quarter.
Please Note: Our nannies are contracted to work exclusively with Hilton Head Nannies and do not work with any other babysitting or nanny services/agencies. Further, our nannies are all adult professionals - most of which are over the age of 30 and college educated.

We, at Hilton Head Nannies, believe that there is a broad difference between being a "professional nanny" and a "babysitter". We strongly support the need for specialized training for nannies who provide in-home care for children. Further, we understand the requirements of discerning families who seek childcare services.
